Roots Rising
We have been working with amazing youth from Roots Rising on the farm once a week since 2017. Roots Rising empowers youth and builds community through food and farming. Its vision is to lift up teenagers as community changemakers and strengthen the local food system through the transformational power of meaningful work. Check them out!
Darrow School
Right down the road from our main field, the Darrow School is home to one of our fields and plenty of horse pasture. We work with Darrow School students in Hands to Work program weekly during the school year. In 2018 we completed a new greenhouse at the school to expand Darrow’s agricultural programming. Darrow has also been a CSA member for years, bringing locally grown produce right into the cafeteria daily.
Abode of the Message
The Abode of the Message is the home to the farm, including to two of our farm fields and lots of agricultural infrastructure. We enjoy being part of this rich community. It makes us so happy to see the Abode community enjoying our CSA share during their daily meals.
